Visualize Lightbulb Over My Head
Sometimes when you are doing something mindless the best ideas come to mind. Mine happened on the subway while paging through a magazine. All of a sudden I got a great idea for a new crochet wall hanging. The image literally hit me like a Mac truck — or perhaps the better metaphor here would be a subway car? The idea is safely in my little notepad that I always carry around for such “aha” moments. I will need to buy new yarn for this and look for large metal rings . . . . hmmmm.

Crochet Alert: The Michael Kors Fall 2006 collection is sporting crochet floppy hats and beanies. See photos on New York Metro. Little did I know I was so ahead of the fashion times. I’ve got a crochet beanie that I periodically wear as part of my winter accessories. My friend’s grandmother made it. I do like how M.Kors pairs it with dresses and casual outfits . . .
